Trauma Specialists on the Sunshine Coast
We are a small team consisting of two clinical psychologists and one general psychologist.
All our psychologists use an integrated therapeutic approach including cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy.
Corinne is a clinical psychologist with over 12 years experience. Corinne has extensive training and experience in working with people of all ages with a range of mental health, interpersonal, behavioural and emotional concerns. Corinne has completed advanced certification in Schema Therapy (ISST) and is among a small number of accredited schema therapists Australia wide and the only one on the Sunshine Coast. Schema therapy is a relatively new integrative therapeutic approach aimed at treating all kinds of mental health and emotional difficulties. It is shown to be effective for people who have not responded to other treatments. Shane utilises modified schema therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapies, and behaviour therapy/parenting strategies with children and adolescents. Shane additionally utilises expressive therapies with this population and is trained in EMDR. Shane also treats adults with a range of mental health difficulties and is an Advanced Schema Therapist. What we treat
We treat children, adolescents, and adults with a range of difficulties including: Anxiety disorders ; mood disorders; personality disorders; psychotic disorders; trauma related disorders; substance use disorders; autism spectrum disorders; adjustment to illness, including adults with terminal illness; chronic pain; complicated grief; self-harm; anger difficulties; behavioral difficulties in children and adolescents; and people with intellectual disability.

We have all completed post-graduate training in Clinical Psychology in addition to General Psychologist training; we therefore specialize in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders. We offer a professional service that is client centered and treatment outcome orientated.
